The Huntington Senior Golf Club was founded in 1975, to provide Huntington Town Seniors with an organization that would allow them to play competitive golf with other seniors at the town's premier golf venue, Crab Meadow. Membership is limited to Town of Huntington residents and property owners 60 years of age or older.
The Town of Huntington reserves tee times for our club on Thursday mornings but play is not restricted to Thursdays. The club runs 27 weekly tournaments open to all 150 members (both men and ladies), as well as 5 different Championship Tournaments requiring qualification rounds during the golfing season from April to October. All members play their rounds in accordance with the USGA Rules of Golf and maintain handicaps by reporting scores online to the Metropolitan Golf Association. All weekly events are handicap tournaments which allows golfers with a wide range of skills to compete on a level basis.
